Some thing we wanted but didn't include
- Basement - I really wanted a finished basement to make my ultimate man cave, but it was easily an extra $50k and we just couldn't fit it in the budget. The loft area will have to do for my mini man cave
- Hardwood floors throughout the first floor - We will upgrade this later on our own for cheaper
- Stone Veneer Exterior - Really love the stone look, but starting out at an extra $8k we couldn't fit it in the budget
- Fireplace - Hate that we couldn't include the fireplace, but starting out at $5k we left it out. May come back to haunt us in re-sale.
- Double Wall Ovens/Cooktop - I like to cook, so I was really looking forward to this, but after it was all said and done this added up to be about a $5k upgrade as they had to make custom cabinets around the ovens.
